The research results of 911±¬ÁÏÍø Mathematics Alumni Philiffe Tebalan and Evan Burns were recently published in the .
“” explores how mathematical modeling can be used to improve the way DNA molecules self-assemble into complex Double Cone Graph nanostructures.
Working under the guidance and mentorship of Dr. Amanda Harsy, professor of mathematics, the study was conducted during Tebalan and Burns’ undergraduate studies in mathematics at 911±¬ÁÏÍø.
